Kagamine Rin Portable PSP Theme (Ver1.0)

Done at the request of Tash Altair from Vocaloidism Forums. What is now the second of the Vocaloid Portable themes, This theme features Kagamine Rin. The icons are litterally just altered in color from Hatsune Miku Portable and have had Rin shadows put in place of Miku shadows. Simple really. Hopefully I can make a theme like this for every main Vocaloid. :3

Beatmania IIDX 16th Style: EMPRESS PSP Theme (Ver. 1.0)

PINK OVERLOAD FOR THE WIN, KAY THANKS BAI. Okay, so I fell in love with Ameto from EMPRESS and was like “I need an amazing PINK theme for my PSP!” I’m very proud of my icons this time around, they are all designed with BMIIDX16 in mind (despite the fact I’ve never played this game series besides the flash version), and were all made from scratch (mostly). I did copy-paste for other icons (like copy-pasting the disc, crown, jewel, etc, then altering it), but I made the icons all myself and I’m very proud of that fact. This theme is a PINK IS AMAZING sort of theme, so to those who either (1) Hate pink or (2) Do not want to show the fact they like pink/Ameto, please do not yell at me for this theme. xD; Ameto and BMIIDX16 use pink a lot so I kept that and rolled with it a looong way. xD Quite honestly, I really like the pink.

The wallpaper came out amazingly too. I don’t know why I decided to give it stripes of her and have it fade to B&W, but I really like it. The selected category lays ontop of more-so B&W sections of the wallpaper, and thus the pink icons stand out a lot. And on the other side, the pink icons to the right and not selected fade in a bit to the massive amounts of pink in the wallpaper.

I really like this theme, and am very proud of actually making all the icons this time around. :3

My first theme for Osu! The majority of it took about 7-8 hours. Made this for fun, and I really liked the turnout. It’s nice and cute and pink (though some of the Osu! members don’t like the mass of pink xD), and features just about every idol (even 961!). I don’t have much to say about this theme though, but I like using it. The countdown voices were done by myself, so sorry if they don’t sound like Chihaya, Makoto, or Yukiho. Dx;

Hatsune Miku Portable PSP Theme (Ver. 2.1)

Ah~ My number one Idol, Hatsune Miku. After I saw this image on Tripshot’s page I was like “PSP THEME. NAO.” It’s a lovely CG model of Miku, and the PV “Nebula” is amazing too. Anyways, this theme is purely Miku-based. All the icons are warped versions of the defualts turned hot pink with a sharp black drop shadow. Miku has some 5 or 6 shadows in teal with a sharp black drop shadow that I (sorta) randomly picked to go with each of the icons. The focus is yet another case of one-image, this time it being of Miku’s Negi/Leek/Spring Onion. But it looks nice, so I don’t care. xD; At first I didn’t think the hot pink and teal would look too well together on the PSP, but it turned out the contrast and difference looked really nice.

The icons are really simple and again are all made using the defaults except the Internet Search and Account Management (Which I had made to match the defaults, so whatever). Not too much to say about the icons besides the fact I love the Hot Pink/Teal combo.

This theme is amazing and I’ve used it with different wallpapers (though the Nebula one really is the best) for a decent period of time. While the icons are really simple, they look really nice. Oh and it’s kinda silly, but  the XMB icons end up sitting right on top of her finger, so she’s pointing to the selected XMB icon. xD;

The first, and most likely last, PS3 theme I have made. I had gotten bored of the default PS3 theme and said to myself “I’m gonna make a PS3 theme.” And since I love Vocaloid, I of course made a Vocaloid Theme. The Category icons are all part of one image from Piapro cropped to rectangles. The Category default icon was colored the appropriate color and then tada, simple category icons. PS3 themes have A LOT OF ICONS, let me tell you. There are about 13 or so random wallpapers, though the downloads give you the folder of all the wallpapers if you want to use a specific one.

As for the other icons, I merely recolored them and gave them a 2-3 picel stroke. There are SO. MANY. ICONS. I’m glad I just left it at recolors. I did my best to match the colored icons to the character whose XMB category they’re be under, but some go under more than one (BD Data Folder icon, Playlist Icon), so they don’t all match up.

In the end, I’m happy with the turn out, and am really just glad I don’t have to use that boring ol’ PS3 default theme ever again. xD; Maybe not the best PS3 theme out there, but it’ll do for me. Also, I never want to do a PS3 theme again, so much insanity.

Colorful Days! PSP theme (Ver. 1.0)
–Just the PTF file–

This theme was made because I disliked the fact all the promotional themes for THE iDOLM@STER SP used the default icons other than the category icons. So I took the artwork for the covers of each game, stuck them together in the corner, put the game’s logo above their heads, and merged the Star, Moon, and Sun icons together. Behind them is a Red-Yellow-Blue gradient with the “A” symbol from iDOLM@STER layered on top (Like done in the promotional themes). The category icons each use two of the 765 Girls in their Live For You! Chibi forms, and their image colors split diagonally across the BG. The Game category icon is the 765 logo with a kinda bleh gradient of all the 765 Girls’ image colors. The TV Icon is Miki solo since she left for 961 in SP.

The icons this time around were made by warping the default icons, making them white with a sharp black drop shadow, and then adding the 765 Girls posing next to the icon in colored shadow form. The focus/glow is half-assed, with just the A symbol in white. Beats making different focus images for every icon like I did for the P4 theme though.

While I could probably make the Game Icon’s gradient less yukey, and the A sign in the wallpaper bigger, this theme turned out OK. It served it’s purpose as being better than the promotional themes. xD;

Persona 4 PSP Theme (Ver. 2.6)
–ZIP format, Includes Alternate Wallpapers + Read Me–

Well, this is the first PSP theme I ever made. Based off of the PS2 game Persona 4, it’s a very bright colored theme. Each of the main characters is featured on a category icon (Protagonist is the TV icon, though non-UK or JP people won’t see it, and Teddie is the defualt icon for like everything). The wallpaper comes in 9-10 versions, the defualt pop-art style without Teddie, another version of the pop-art style with Teddie, and then a wallpaper with each of the characters in front and in full color plus their name.

As for the icons, the category icons are simple rounded rectangles with the default category icons turned yellow and slipped behind the character’s heads. The rest of the icons (except Account Management and Internet Search, which were made myself later on) were merely layered on top of with the P4 Rainbow-thing and then given a 2pixel stroke of white around the edge. Not too much work entailed, but still a little tedious.

In the end, for my first theme, I rather like it. It’s bright, colorful, and does keep the feel of the P4 game’s art style.
